Don't Cry for Me Huntington?

Huntington, West Virginia is supposedly America's fattest city. But every time you turn around there's a new fat city in America so we'll take it with a pinch of salt and partially hydrogenated vegetable oil.

Anyway, the city reduced Food Prophet Jamie Oliver to tears. They don't care about veggies and alas - they don't want to eat lettuce all day. Surprising. Jamie is there on a Food Revolution trying to get the Yanks to eat healthy, wholesome food as opposed to the junk food they were weened on.

The upbeat chef broke down, apparently he felt naked, vulnerable and misunderstood by a community that doesn't really care what they put in their mouths. Even their feet/foot. Now, Jamie's efforts are noble but you have to ask yourself what did Jimmy Eat World expect? Change? Transformation? Healthy BMI's based on his visit? I'm all for ambition but he's taken on something of a missionary role, trying to convert the Candy Land into one of complex carbs and healthy fats. Residents would have preferred Nigella Lawson I'm sure.

Here's a word of advice Jamie, there really is no use in crying over spilled full fat milk. Come to SA and experience the culinary genius we have here.
